Breakfast muffins - for dinner





































What could be better for dinner then apple & carrot muffins! After a relatively busy day shopping for our upcoming trip to Thailand and taking in a movie (Michelle Williams really rocked Marilyn by the way) - the last thing I wanted to do was cook a proper dinner. So lazy, am I. Anywho, I made these really delicious organic muffins (they taste much better then the pictures I took). I think the secret is the rolled oats and brown sugar topping sprinkled over the mixture. The cup of organic yoghurt I added gave the muffins a denser texture.

How to: homemade organic dumplings (for a quiet saturday night in)

After a rather big Friday night (far too many delicious cocktails had by hubby and myself), today was spent snuggling (Rainny included) on the couch. For a quick and delicious dinner, I made homemade dumplings which I think are just as tasty as their restaurant counterparts. Combine free range/organic chicken and a few fresh ingredients (corriander and spring onion) plus a generous splash of organic soy sauce, sweet chilli sauce and sesame oil. Spoon a small dollop on wanton wrappers (see picture), fold over into a little parcel and steam. Enjoy!
