Utilising the humble strawberry

Since we now have an abundance of strawberries, it meant getting creating with receipts. Last night I made a particularly sweet salad. It was sliced strawberries on a bed of spinach layered with chicken breast, walnuts and crumbled blue cheese. I made a homemade raspberry vinaigrette to accompany the salad. It was very fresh and vey tasty. Plus I thought - very pretty.
